Sheer Indulgence

With Popular having a sale and then a Book Fair on two consecutive weekends, I went on a mini book shopping spree (being able to buy books is definitely one of the few perks of working:P). So here they are all laid out nicely, the pages just waiting to be discovered and savoured on a weekend such as this :)...And quite a varied lot it is too...There's :

- "The Decline and Fall of Practicall Everybody" by Will Cuppy, some non-fiction for a change (the writing is quite Ngiam-mish actually:P)
- "Three Weeks With My Brother" by Nicholas & Micah Sparks, for a good cry..
- " Brand New Friend" by Mike Gayle, for some British humour + "guy-lit" (it's written Bridget Jones for the men on the back cover:P)
- "Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell" by Susanna Clarke, for a touch of magic and fantasy,
- "Playing House" by Patricia Pearson, for some warm, fuzzy romance :)

New books....nothing like it =D.

2-Days Workweek

1 workday = 8 hours

3 workdays = 8 hours x 3 days
= 24 hours
= 1 day

5 and a half workdays = ( 8 hours x 5 days ) + 5 hours (1/2 day)
= 45 hours
= Less than 2 Days !!!

So even if you count staying back late in office and all that, we only work 2 days a week, the most 3 days (that's if you're an absolute workaholic :P). Aren't we all blessed to only have a 2-days workweek? ;)

* A theory I thought up of while suffering the Monday blues :P. Hey, whatever gets you through the day....:)
