The Stolen Picture

This is a picture of me by the River Seine, taken as I was on my way to Eiffel Tower in July 2005.

I keep this picture (and several other pics of me and my Sayang, with the bears, my family) tacked on my workstation wall. It's been there since last week when I finally had the chance to decorate my workstation.

This morning I came into office and it was gone. Stolen.

I have an idea who the culprit might be. This psycho IT guy has been coming to say "Hi, how are you?" for the past few months. Initially I thought he was just being friendly and I would reply him back, then it just got annoying (the past few weeks have been hectic and yet this inconsiderate guy, despite seeing how busy I was rushing for dateline still stops at my workstation all the time to say "hi", and he actually stands there and expect me to engage him in a conversation despite seeing how furiously I was tapping on my keyboard!!!) and I have just been giving him the cold shoulder ever since.

Then today my picture is gone.

Of course, it might not be him. But still, whoever did it, I am just pissed. >=o(

It's not about the picture, I mean I can redevelop 10 more of the exact photo if I want, but it's the fact that it's plain disrespecful, it's invading my personal space, and it's just plain STEALING.

Do you know? I actually pasted that exact same pic on my workstation wall back at my old workplace, and despite my office being an "open" area due to the fact that the Hotel was open 24 hours, and any of our Hotel employees who were on shift could just saunter over to my cubicle and take any of my stuff, none of my personal stuff were stolen. Ever.

Even when I was hit on by the bellboy, the bartender, the banquet waiter....all of them just gave me a couple of those lame flirty lines, they never crossed the boundary of actually STEALING my stuff.

Arrrrgh!!! The nerve of some people.

Sooner or later I will really go crazy working at this place I tell you. Jiwa rasa tak tenang.

And YOU, whoever that's taken my photo, I hope that the cosmic/ karmic power that rules the universe will make sure you get exactly what you deserve, something that run along the line of a terrible curse that will plague you till your 7th generation. Or LONGER.
